ART WITH ABEL POLICIES

Tuition/Fees

Tuition is due before the first weekly lesson of each month. By doing this you reserve your scheduled day and time. Tuition is based on the number of weeks in a particular month. There will be no tuition deductions/reimbursements allowed for missed lessons, vacation, illness, or for any other reason (see make-up policy). Tuition will not be charge or days, such as holiday, when the studio is closed. If Abel is, for any reason, unable to teach a lesson, the tuition can be rolled over to the next month or used as a make up lesson.

Make-up Lessons

Tuition is paid monthly and due the first lesson of each month. Be sure to pay tuition on time or the student may lose their time slot. If a student is unable to attend their regularly scheduled lesson, please notify Abel so he can utilize that space for the day. If notified of an absences before noon the day of your lesson, you will receive a make-up lesson. Make-up Lessons are only allowed within a paid month and do not count towards tuition for lessons in future months.

To schedule a make-up lesson we just need to check for available day and times and schedule accordingly.

Studio Rules

All students are expected to be respectful of others and the studio. There is no running, yelling, fighting, profanity, or vandalism allowed. Abel prefers that food and/or drinks be consumed before lessons begin, with the exception of medical conditions. This protects the art from potential accidents. Students may not bring friends to class, with the exception of said friend taking a free trial lesson. It is preferred that the free trial be scheduled in advance.

Abel reserves the right to dismiss any student who is in violation of the above rules. If the student is a child, they will be asked to wait up front till a guardian arrives.

Arrival/Departure

Lessons will begin promptly a their scheduled time. Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late risk losing their spot that day. Children may NOT be dropped off more than 5 minutes before their lesson, and they must be picked up no later than 5 minutes after their lesson. This allows the teacher time to clean up and set up for the next students. Any child dropped off early or picked up late could lead to an additional charge ($1 per minute past the grace period of 5 minutes provided).
